David Bryson, AIA
David is a graduate of North Carolina State University's School of Design. The drive and passion of his work is a blend of his drive to gain understanding of the human experience as it relates to interacting with built form and his dogma of holding on, above all else, the context of history, space and experience. Due to the fact that he spent thousands of hours gaining hands-on experience working on construction sites, quality materials and craftsmanship are always paramount in his planning, detailing and project management.
His personal portfolio of projects ranging from the intimacy of creating a new single-family dwelling nestled within the confines of the historic Boylan Heights neighborhood to the very public renovation of the North Carolina State House Chamber.
Presently, the President of Bryson Design, Inc., he previously worked at Hagersmith Design and Odell and Associates where he designed and managed a wide range of projects from the subdued WCPE radio station to the large and inviting 4700 Falls of the Neuse office building.
